24. Delete Template

To delete the current template:
  1. Click the Template button on the Template Bar. A selection list pops up.
  2. Click Delete Template. The current template is deleted.
This option should be used with care. Once a template has been deleted, it cannot be recovered.

If you don't want this option to be available, edit the KwikText preferences file called Button_TemplateNames.txt. Just add a pound sign in front of the DeleteTemplate line. The line should look like this: #DeleteTemplate. The next time you run KwikText, this option will not be available.

Troubleshooting
  1. If you delete a template that was used to create records, the records will still exist, but you won't be able to update them using KwikText.
