40. Uninstall KwikText

Uninstall KwikText by removing its files from your computer:
  1. Locate and delete the kwiktext.jar file. If you don't remember where it is, see below.
  2. Locate and delete the directory called KwikText in the /Data directory.
  3. Locate and delete the directory called KwikText in the /Windows directory.
One way to find all KwikText files easily is to use the Windows Find program:
  1. Click the Windows Start button. A list of programs pops up.
  2. Click the Find icon, then click Files or Folders. The Find: All Files window pops up.
  3. Type "KwikText". Then click the Browse button and select the entire drive you think KwikText may be on and press OK.
  4. Make sure the Include subfolders box has a check in it.
  5. Click the Find Now button. Windows will begin its search.
You can delete the files directly from the search window. If you delete the two directory files and the .jar file, all KwikText files will be deleted.
